Social Enterprise Donor Report

Giving Young People A Brighter Future

Over the past 12 months, “Heaven At The Hill” has continued to expand its services:

  • The Coffee Caravan trades 5 days per week from St Peter’s Place and employs a number of at-risk young people in hospitality training. Profits from trading are reinvested in the meals and other social support services

  • Meals Program – supports a wide range of people in need. This includes international students, older people living in boarding houses, refugee families and others.

  • Since January, over 12,000 meals have been distributed as well as 2000 grocery packs

  • Meals Delivery Service – this is an outreach program that delivers meals to various Food Pantries in suburban areas enabling us to help those not in the city area.

  • Volunteer development program – we continue to develop and train a group of young people in various volunteer activities around the parish.

  • The redevelopment of the Maynard Kitchen for the exclusive use of the Social Enterprise is greatly appreciated as it has enabled us to expand and improve our various services. We are very grateful to Foundation donors for enabling this to happen.

  • We look forward to having a social worker to assist those social enterprise clients who would benefit from counselling and emotional support.
